Notification no 720 dated 25th February, 2005

                S.O.720–In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 17 of the Export (Quality Control and Inspection) Act, 1963 (22 of 1963) the Central Government hereby makes the following rules to amend the Export of Dried Fish (Quality Control and Inspection) Rules, 2002, namely:-

1. (1)  These rules may be called the Export of Dried Fish (Quality Control and Inspection) Amendment Rule, 2005

    (2)   They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

           2.   In the Export of Dried Fish (Quality Control and Inspection) Rules, 2002, in rule 9, for
 sub-rule (4), the following sub-rule shall be substituted, namely:-

                  “ (4) The appeal shall be disposed of within 30 days of its receipt”

The Principal rules were published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary vide Notification S.O. No.1376 (E) dated 30^th December 2002 and subsequently amended vide notification number S.O. 233, dated the 31^st January 2004.
